Latest News:  On a sad note we have to report the death of Dr Paul Smith, one of the Rotary Doctor Bank’s Medical Advisers.  

Congratulations to Past District Governor David Curtis, a member of the Rotary Doctor Bank Management Committee, who was awarded the BEM in the New Years Honours.   David was District Governor of District 1150 in 2013-14.  David is a former world champion gymnast.

Welcome to the website of  The Rotary Doctor Bank of Great Britain and Ireland, which celebrates it’s 20th Anniversary in 2014 – 15.

For 20 years, the Rotary Doctor Bank has been sending volunteer healthcare workers to developing countries around the world.   These volunteers have made tremendous improvements to the lives of thousands of people who may otherwise not have had access to healthcare.
